Submitting an exhibition proposal and exhibiting in Living Room is free of charge. In general, Living Room covers costs related to installing the exhibitions, but not the production of the artworks. We can provide assistance in applying for external funding.
Typically, we choose artists that we think fits the curatorial direction of Living Room, so please have a look at our past exhibitions to see if your work would fit into our program.
There are no deadlines for submitting an exhibition, if we think your proposal will work, we’ll suggest a timeframe or take your proposed time frame into consideration.
To submit your exhibition proposals, please send your proposal along with a short portfolio of recent works relevant to your proposal and a CV to info@livingroomathens.com. Proposals don’t have to describe a complete project ~ an idea for a project is fine.
Keep in mind that we typically schedule 6-9 months into the future, so short-notice applications might not get a response. We’re also a very small team, so it might take a little while to respond.
